Like the overall shape of your swing ---- but you'd be better 'matching' your arms and body in harmony .. simple task - hold you hips still as you allow your arms to commence the take away, even feel the inside of your upper arms work/brush across your chest during this movement ........ then simple, allowing the arms and body to reach the top at the same time.
Thanks very much for the tip! Im constantly working on improving. I was very raw material before working with my current instructor. Although a lot has improved - always more to learn and more to groove!
This video that you uploaded demonstrates your point. The club head moves on an arc out side the target line, at the start of the takeaway. From our perspective as we look down the line, the club head moves closer to the white rubber tee in the mat as a reference point, rather than moving more in. Scott Cranfield has a nice video with a good drill for developing the correct take away - cga-golf.com/golf-tips/6/ . The same video is available here for viewing on saveamillionshots.

Yes great swing you've got there. I've been working on similar things myself and it seems that you have been doing a better job than me so far! Lovely rhythm and tempo too.
Thanks very much!
Been having lessons for just over a year. Have worked on a lot - but got a long way to go as well. Posture has been a big improvement. More recently since posting this I have worked on getting better balance - and more leg strength. Working on transition at the moment getting hips more open through impact - will post a new video once I have it nailed.
How have you been getting on with your swing changes?
Really well thanks - played to one under my handicap in the recent medal and am on my way to single figures golf this summer!
Looks like your work is paying off - looks like a really good swing to me!
Who is your coach he's obviously doing a good job and has he got any videos/tips on saveamillionshots yet?
Thanks for your kind remarks! I was off 8 when I posted this - im now down to a low 6... so going the right way! still having regular lessons.
My Coach is Mark Nicholls - Nevada Bobs in London. Doing a great job - although not sure if he has anything on the site yet!
