Many congratulations to Lee Westwood, who has just been crowned World No.1 Golfer. He is of course, coached by Europe's No.1 Golf Coach, Pete Cowen, whose videos you'll find here on Save a Million Shots.
We're very pleased to bring you a special offer to purchase the official Ryder Cup DVDs, which are due for release on 22 November. As an additional offer from us, if you place an order for either the Ryder Cup DVD or the Ryder Cup Diary DVD, we'll give you five Pocketshots (worth £20!) on us. Hi JC
Here are a few tips for you -----
I would like to see a video from face on to better clarify your technique but suggest working at backswing as a priority ---
1) your right hand grip position looks strong - to far under the club (V of thumb/forefinger pointing to right shoulder) ... bring this a little more on top. Also, you appear to be using an interlocking grip - suggest an overlapping one to help with control and improved clubface position & wrist set during the backswing
2) During the backswing you turn quire early leading to an inside club path and the right leg straigthening - allow the hands and arms to commence the backswing so that the clubhead can work more upwards initially. Maintain a little flex in the right knee.
The downswing looks fine from this camera angle!
Cheers and good luck, Keith
Thanks Keith for taking the time to look at my swing
Really appreciate your comments
All the best
James
