Hampton Court Palace Golf Club
This historic 6514 yard par 71 course offers a blend of parkland and links. Built on gravel and hidden in a nook of the Thames, the course is free draining giving it a weather proofed reputation. The course is dominated by symmetrical lines of lime trees and copses of oak. The golfing experience is contrasted by a new and contemporary style club house with stylish bar, restaurant and beautiful function room. A first class putting green and practice area complete the picture. Featured in golf monthly’s Must Play Courses, Hampton Court Palace Golf course has two tales to tell. At 6514 yards in length and par 71, the course has a parkland front nine and a contrasting links feel to the back nine, particularly with the breeze up. Course designer Willie Park, whose most famous creation was Sunningdale Old Course, did not create too many easy golf courses and Hampton Court Palace is no exception to this rule. The course bares all Park’s design hallmarks, slightly raised greens with imaginative contours, gently undulating fairways, strategically placed bunkers and fairways flanked by flowering grasses during the summer months. It is from the preservation of this heritage, which the golfer will find so much more at Hampton Court Palace Golf Club. The course itself opens up with three relatively straight forward Par 4’s, which will lure the unsuspecting golfer into a false sense of security. From here the course throws down its challenge by ensuring players of all abilities are tested to the full, especially in their shot making. With three finishing holes that rank amongst the best in golf, the course is both challenging and beautifully unique. When it comes to getting away for a game of golf there really is nowhere better. Situated on a sand and gravel base, the course is naturally free draining with year round golf virtually guaranteed.

Nice course, also play with a member occasionally. It's got great views of the palace and the course has some particularly interesting holes. It also has a nice practice area so you can warm up before you go out to play. Definitely worth a visit.
I've played here lots of times over the past few years with a friend of mine who is a member here. I played here recently and have to say that it's in the best condition I have seen; immaculate fairways, tees and greens; hats off to Crown Golf it looks like all the investment they have made recently has paid off.
I would love to play here more often but it's still quite pricey for guests, my friend used to buy guest vouchers in bulk at a discount but they have stopped doing that...why? If Hampton Court Palace Golf club read this please bring them back!
