Suggested Pre-Round Golf Routine

Golf Fitrness Suggested Pre-Round RoutineArrive in good time - 30 minutes before your round is ample time.

Hydrate - have a drink 10-15 minutes before you start your round of about 250mls.

Warm-Up exercises - follow the exercises in this PocketshotsTM lesson in the correct sequence.

Dry Swing Drills - Loosen up by just swinging one club unhurriedly through your swing positions.  Aim to get your whole body moving in the right sequence before you hit any balls.

Warm-Up shots - Hit some shots - Short game, Long game and then move to the putting green.

Walking to the 1st Tee - walk slowly, breathe slowly and deeply, rotate your shoulders back to ease tension.

Warm-On - During the round stretch, hydrate and snack to maintain energy levels.

Warm-Down - Put your clubs away, have a few gentle stretches, hydrate (water before beer!), take a hot and cold shower to feel refreshed.
