Abbey Moor Golf Club

The course isn't the longest in the Surrey area and is quite open in parts, allowing you to open the shoulders and left fly with the driver. It's good fun all the way, that is until the wind picks up. It invariably does and, because of the open fairways, you'll have very little say in the direction of your ball when it hits the sky.

The course has superb drainage and has never had to close. It has fantastic views, especially of St Albans Abbey. The course provides the beginner an excellent opportunity to learn the game, as well as giving the more experienced player a challenging test. Aberdelghy Golf Course

Although not the longest of courses, what it lacks in distance is made up for in thought provoking shots created by a series of small streams and a number of tree plantations. The course is very much suited to those seeking a casual round of golf at a competitive price. There are also concession rates available. The course boasts a well stocked shop run by M&M Sports, with an extensive golf [read more...]

Aberdour Golf Club

Course at Aberdour Golf Club

Aberdour has gained a Gold Award in the 2006 rankings recently published by Golf Monthly. The award reflects the overall test of golf; visual presentation; degree of fairness and enjoyment; and, above all the high quality of course management. Aberdour is only 1 of 12 courses in Fife to receive this award. This course is well worth a visit.
