Short Game - The Green - Pick and Play to a Landing Area
Always try and pick out a good landing area that you can play to. Don't just focus on the target. Think about finding a nice even spot (or if it's on a slope think about how the ball will react on landing) and then visualising the ball running towards the flag.

Remember:
Downhill - the shot will play shorter as the ball will roll further on landing.
Tips:
Chip - select more lofted club or land shorter and allow for the extra roll.
Pitch - allow for the extra roll or select a more lofted club and pitch closer to the hole with a higher trajectory.
Side hill slopes - the ball will curve more and you must estimate this and aim to land your ball more to the left or right taking into account the bounce and roll factor.
