Tension in Swing

By nitram - Posted on 15 March 2009

While i was caddying in a pro am a question asked by one off the Amateur´s to the pro  was,  ´´ How can i have a smoother swing and get rid of tension at the same time¨ ´´One of many things in the swing is, all players must have is, soft forearms in through the swing´´, was the answer.

Try it.

I think one of the purposes of the practic swing is set the rhythme for the shot you are about to play.  Also your  preshot  routine  is going to get you ready to hit the shot you are about to hit.. If you need to release tension, having a practice swing first and staying in motion during  the preshot routine should help your both problems .

Good tip Nitram - tension can really kill your swing. I'll try and remember this one myself when I play this weekend.
