This beautiful golf resort overlooks the Sierra de Mijas Hills and the Mediterranean Sea and is located just at 20 minutes drive from Mijas coast and 25 minutes from Malaga Airport and Marbella. Alhaurin Golf offers an 18 hole golf course designed by Severiano Ballesteros for golfers to enjoy. This course encourages players to use all clubs in their bags and ensures a golf day where every hole is different and well kept.
The vegetation is a sample of Mediterranean forest. You can find pine trees, oak trees, cypress, orange trees and a wide range of herbs.

I love this mountainous course; I recall on one occasion being 1-under par after the first 6 holes before losing 2 balls and my head on the 7th.
It's a fun golf course to play, well maintained and enjoyable layout with some challenging holes. Well worth adding to your list of courses on your itinerary for your next golf holiday in Spain.
